This property near the Cowichan Hospital was transformed into the homeowner’s dream home. It had been over run with perennials and garden shrubs and we turned it into low-maintenance entertaining area for relaxing with brick pavers, garden borders and flower beds
Concept Breakdown:
- Removal of all existing landscape
- Build concrete footings for steps, walls and deck
- Install natural stone wall for raised planting bed
- Frame and pour raised architectural concrete planter
- Install patio’s and artificial turf
- Pour concrete walkways from front to back yard
- Install new gates and fences, irrigation and lighting
Obstacles to overcome:
- Deal with surface water and drainage around the property
- Adjust grades to work with large tree and roots on neighbors property
