Phil Colenutt always had a passion for the outdoors and dogs before and after moving to Canada from England over 25 years ago.
Before moving here, he completed his National Diploma in Countryside Management, to aid his work ethic and passion for construction of beautiful gardens.
After shortly after moving to BC, Phil then met Maria, who also had a passion for the outdoors and dog training, and together they live happily with their 3 Golden retrievers, Chester, Chaos and Feck.
Moving forward a few years, the vision for Creative By Design is born. They have tools, vehicles and machinery, but the passion and work standards stays the same. Together they bring a group of people together that have the same mindset of building and delivering amazing results at every property they visit. Phil runs the outside and Maria organizes everything behind the scenes.
Together, we are a professional team that strive to set standards in the industry, while being passionate about building and commitment to improve gardens and entertaining areas with knowledge and craftsmanship, we always maintain a people-first approach.
